The Position
Parent & Child at the Heart
As Demand Planner for the Americas, you will play a critical role in ensuring families can reliably access Stokke products when they need them. By building accurate forecasts and supporting strong planning decisions across the U.S. and Canada, your work directly enables product availability, service excellence, and positive customer experiences for parents and children.
Agility, Speed & Execution
This role requires analytical precision, ownership, and the ability to translate complex data into clear, actionable insights at pace. You will support the S&OP process, partner cross‑functionally, and continuously refine planning models to drive reliable execution in a fast‑moving commercial environment.
This role is based in Stamford, CT, with a hybrid schedule (3 days onsite).
Main Responsibilities
Forecasting & Demand Planning
- Develop and refine statistical demand forecasts at SKU, product family, and customer levels.
- Apply advanced quantitative forecasting techniques using historical data, trends, seasonality, and external factors.
- Maintain and optimise planning parameters including safety stock, variability factors, and replenishment logic.
S&OP / S&OE Support
- Provide analytical inputs to the S&OP cycle, including forecast accuracy, risks, and opportunities.
- Conduct scenario planning to support leadership decision‑making and business readiness.
- Partner closely with Sales, Marketing, Finance, and Operations to align demand, supply, and commercial expectations.
Price, Promotion & POS Analysis
- Analyse POS data, pricing elasticity, and promotional impacts to refine forecasts.
- Identify shifts in consumer demand drivers and evaluate promotional effectiveness.
- Support pricing and promotional strategy through data‑driven insights.
Analytics, Dashboards & Reporting
- Build and maintain dashboards (Power BI or similar) to visualise KPIs, forecast accuracy, demand trends, and inventory health.
- Translate complex datasets into clear PowerPoint presentations and business recommendations.
- Perform data cleansing, root‑cause analysis, and deep dives to support continuous improvement.
Cross‑Functional Collaboration
- Partner with Sales, Marketing, Finance, and Operations to ensure alignment on demand signals.
- Communicate insights effectively to both technical and non‑technical stakeholders.
- Provide actionable recommendations to improve forecast accuracy and inventory performance.
Continuous Improvement
- Enhance forecasting models, analytics frameworks, and planning processes.
- Identify data gaps and recommend infrastructure or process improvements.
- Stay current with industry best practices in demand planning and analytics.

Requirements
Education
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business Analytics, Statistics, Economics, Engineering, or a related field (Master’s preferred).
Experience
- 5+ years of experience in demand planning, supply chain analytics, or a closely related function.
- Strong expertise in statistical forecasting methods (regression, time series, exponential smoothing).
- Experience working with ERP and planning tools such as M3, RELEX, SAP IBP, Oracle, Anaplan, or Kinaxis.
- Proven ability to interpret complex datasets and present insights clearly to non‑technical stakeholders.
- Experience working in cross‑functional environments; consulting experience is a plus.
Technical & Professional Skills
- Expert‑level Excel skills (Power Query, advanced formulas, pivot tables; VBA a plus).
- Experience with BI tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or similar.
- Strong analytical mindset with high attention to detail.
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and presentation skills.
- Self‑starter comfortable managing multiple priorities in a fast‑paced environment.
