The Position

Parent & Child at the Heart

As National Account Manager, Americas, you will play a critical role in growing Stokke’s presence across major U.S. retail partners. By building strong, long‑term customer relationships and delivering premium brand experiences at retail, your work directly supports how families in the U.S. discover and engage with Stokke products.

You will take full ownership of national account performance, ensuring that Stokke’s products, storytelling, and partnerships reflect our commitment to quality, design, and meaningful family connection.

Agility, Speed & Execution

This is a high‑impact, commercially focused leadership role requiring strong ownership, decisiveness, and executional excellence. You will lead sales strategy, drive revenue and profitability, and translate plans into results across a complex retail landscape.

The role is remote within the U.S. (Midwest or Northeast preferred) and includes 15–25% domestic travel and occasional international travel.

Main Responsibilities

Account Leadership & Growth

  • Lead, manage, and inspire a high‑performing national account sales team.
  • Own strategy, execution, and performance across assigned U.S. national accounts.
  • Build and strengthen long‑term partnerships to drive loyalty and sustainable growth.
  • Lead Joint Business Planning (JBP) discussions, defining shared priorities and long‑term targets.

Commercial Strategy & Revenue Delivery

  • Design and execute data‑driven sales strategies to exceed revenue and profitability goals.
  • Set, track, and deliver weekly, monthly, and quarterly sales targets.
  • Analyse competitive landscape, customer trends, and cost structures to inform pricing decisions.
  • Lead retailer co‑op planning, investment decisioning, and post‑evaluation.

Forecasting & Performance Reporting

  • Deliver accurate sales forecasts for existing assortments and new product launches.
  • Provide clear reporting, insights, and recommendations to guide commercial decisions.
  • Analyse account performance using retailer systems and financial dashboards.

Cross‑Functional Collaboration

  • Partner with Marketing on category strategy, product growth plans, and retail activations.
  • Collaborate closely with Sales, eCommerce, Operations, Finance, and Product teams.
  • Ensure national account strategies align with Stokke’s broader commercial objectives.

Requirements

Education

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field.

Experience

  • 10+ years of experience managing national retail accounts within premium or consumer brands.
  • 5+ years of proven people‑leadership experience managing and developing sales teams.
  • Demonstrated success delivering sales growth and executing strategic account plans.
  • Strong understanding of retailer systems for sales tracking, forecasting, and performance management.

Personal Attributes

  • Strong leadership, negotiation, and communication skills.
  • Commercially astute with the ability to translate strategy into execution.
  • Highly organised and effective at managing multiple priorities.
  • Clear, confident communicator (written and verbal).
  • Comfortable working remotely with strong self‑management skills.
  • Willing and able to travel domestically and internationally (15–25%).
