The Position
Parent & Child at the Heart
As a Logistics Operations Specialist EMEA, you will play a key role in ensuring efficient and reliable logistics operations across the EMEA region. You will be responsible for overseeing day-to-day warehouse and transportation activities, managing relationships with logistics partners, and driving continuous improvements that enhance service, efficiency, and customer satisfaction.
Based in Amsterdam, Netherlands
Agility, Speed & Execution
This is an operationally focused role with ownership of Stokke's logistics operations across EMEA, including our warehouse operations in the Netherlands and Italy. Working closely with Customer Service, Sales, Supply Chain, and external logistics providers, you will help ensure seamless inbound and outbound logistics while supporting process optimization and business growth.
Main Responsibilities
Logistics Operations Management
- Manage and monitor day-to-day operations of Stokke's third-party warehouse partners across the EMEA region.
- Support inbound and outbound logistics processes to ensure high service levels and operational efficiency.
- Coordinate logistics activities across warehousing, transportation, and supporting systems.
- Ensure smooth execution of logistics operations while resolving operational issues and escalations.
Inventory & Performance Management
- Monitor inventory levels and logistics KPIs, taking proactive actions to optimize capacity, inventory health, returns, rework, and scrap management.
- Track and evaluate logistics provider performance against agreed service levels.
- Manage escalation processes with third-party logistics providers and freight forwarders.
- Support invoice control, cost booking, and logistics cost management.
Continuous Improvement & Project Management
- Identify opportunities to improve warehouse, transportation, and distribution processes.
- Support the development of new logistics services for both Retail and Ecommerce channels.
- Build business cases, conduct ROI analyses, and contribute to implementation projects.
- Document existing and future logistics solutions, processes, and best practices.
Vendor & Stakeholder Management
- Collaborate with third-party logistics providers and freight forwarders to ensure strong operational performance.
- Support SLA management and commercial discussions with external logistics partners.
- Work closely with Sales, Customer Service, and Supply Chain teams to align logistics activities with business needs.
- Gather and evaluate internal and customer feedback to identify service improvement opportunities.
Compliance, Forecasting & Reporting
- Support logistics forecasting and reporting activities in collaboration with commercial and customer service teams.
- Ensure compliance with relevant legal and regulatory requirements, including customs, Intrastat, and environmental reporting obligations.
- Maintain accurate reporting and visibility of logistics performance across the region.

Experience & Skills
- Degree or diploma in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
- 3+ years of experience in warehousing, transportation, logistics operations, or supply chain management.
- Experience working with third-party logistics providers and freight forwarders.
- Proven track record in project management and process improvement initiatives.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Experience working with logistics systems, reporting tools, and KPI-driven environments.
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
- Fluent in English.
- Experience within an international business environment is an advantage.
